Originally started in 1969, Walter Sellick along with sons Howard and David converted a Ford 4500 industrial tractor into a 6,000 lb forklift for outdoor use.

During the 90’s, with the reputation of Sellick Equipment’s commitment to quality and dealer support growing, Sellick was acquired by Avis Industrial Corporation, Upland, IN.

Currently, there are over 11,000 Sellick built machines in the field which are serviced by an extensive North American dealer network consisting of 230 locations.
